Teal - This one-shot is a collab between CellaCullen and LyricalKris that was originally posted back in 2010, but it didn’t come my way until LyricalKris posted it on her profile. It’s a love/hate story for Rosalie and Emmett, filled with humor, sarcasm, and really hot fucking in a well-rounded, enjoyable one-shot. I needed a little Rose/Emmett...I just didn’t realize it until I read this!
The Infernal Devices, One-Shot, Jem/Tessa
Teal - While my heart aches for Will in this series, there is still something so undeniably endearing about Jem and Tessa, and Majesta Moniet has such a lovely ability to capture Cassie Clare’s characters in believable, canon ways. For a TMI or TID fan anxiously awaiting the next release from Clare, this is a quick little treat.
Merlin, Modern AU, Complete, Olympics, Tennis, SLASH, MERTHUR
Emmy - I just ADORED this fic. It was so wonderful. If you love tennis or sport, or just fit blokes you will love it. UST by the bucketfull and featuring a cheeky Gwaine tennis player (always win!) and a very driven and buff Arthur battling back from injury for Olympic gold...... With a funny and far-too-good-for-his-own-good Merlin. Whose determination to not get in the way of Arthur’s gold medal, drives Arthur abso fucking insane with lust..... Great fic!

Emmy - I found this fic on an old kink-meme, from someone else’s comment. Its not complete but is still being updated. Its a very quick read and is abso fabby! Merlin ends up being hit with a spell aimed at Arthur (saving him yet again!). The spell causes various ahem physical reactions to Merlin when others say certain words.... Uther delights in making Merlin sneeze repeatedly. However Arthur discovers a different effect and takes his own delight. Such a great fic. A mix of humour and smut, and plot! A great combo, with lots of fun. Love!

Emmy - Paper Legends is already amazing. I still have LOADS to read, but this was the first fic I read from it this year. Just an amazing fic, with amazing art from Alby-Mangroves. I simultaneously wanted to biff Arthur on the head and hug the feck out of him through this fic! Poor wee lost lamb. A beautiful fic, Merlin and Arthur are great friends but then, he Arthur catches Merlin wanking. To gay porn. WANKING. And its affect throws Arthur off.... Will they get friendship back? More? OH ARTHUR!!!!!! Gah. This fic gave me loads of feels.... Brilliant.

Chele - The fic pairing that should give me Daddy issues, but somehow it doesn’t. It’s just lovely and comforting, and more than a little hot. Harry is suffering from nightmares, and finds that having Remus close helps to keep them at bay. The intimacy builds as these two war survivors share the road to healing.

Chele - Brilliant wit meets solid writing, and melt-your-pants smut. Harry’s wand seems to be malfunctioning, but Ollivander’s new apprentice, Draco, thinks that it may be less about the wand, and more about Harry.

Nico -I love it when I find a new story through twitter. Edward and Bella never met in Forks, Bella is now in College and runs into Edward. Has it always been fate that they will be together? I really enjoyed how Edward just jumped right in and saw more than he was bargaining for.... Might have been more than he was expecting but I love how it got his mind going. :)

Teal - This chapter was hot, hot, hot when it came down to the lemons! Edward is getting a little neurotic around Charlie and dealing with the kitten, but he still knows how to give Bella the business. Being the little green-eyed monster he is in Bella’s hometown, the next chapter should be an interesting little pissing match!

Corie - We featured this story not too long ago and the last update brought us close to the end but also showed us how connected these two are and how unbreakable their bond is. Bella thought she wanted to see Edward take a human life but the reality was very different. I can’t say enough about the beauty of the writing.

Corie - I just got caught up with the ending of this and I have to say its a fantastic story. Real, sweet and funny. Great characters and the passion between Edward and Bella was off the charts. I love seeing these two get their HEA!

Jen - Carlisle makes sure that Edward has a perfectly imperfect first time. There’s still so much mystery in this fic, I’m looking forward to having everything slowly revealed.

Corie - Seriously one of the most heartwrenching stories I’ve read in a long time. Based on a true story this was a beautiful tale of life and how it can keep to lovers apart but when Edward said “Everyday of forever” he meant it. This isn’t at all Wussperv friendly just a warning but its beautifully done.

Teal - I’m so sad to see these two go again, but I’m just happy we were able to enjoy a little more of this crazy couple. Impromptu wedding and sweet, wonderful love are exactly what I would have imagined for these characters. le sigh

Corie - Now that it’s complete I know what I’m doing with my day! Love these characters.

Corie - We reached the end of this sweet story about first love and how strong it can be. I loved the characters and I have to say the last chapter really left my heart full and also my perv ;)

Chele - Found this gem on a fic dive after pondering what awesome chemistry Harry and Charlie would have, and how badly I wanted to read about it. Lo and behold, hidingfromsomeone must have reached into my pants when I wasn’t looking and created this gem. Harry and Charlie have been dancing around each other for years - just long enough to both love and hurt each other deeply. When Harry is injured in the line of fire, his injury gives them both the opportunity to see what they’ve been missing, and what could have been so easily lost. Incendiary sex, beautifully written characters, and enough plot that you can almost forget you’re reading porn. This fic makes you feel every emotion from elation to despair, and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings. Note: Charlie is a dragon keeper for fuck’s sake. There is nothing sexier than that. Nothing.

Chele - Harry and Draco find love on an internet dating site. With each other. Hilarity and hot times ensue. Special appearances by magical cockrings, inter-house couplings, and some wicked wine tasting. I could not have had more fun reading this. Couldn’t put it down.

Chele-This fic is intense. The night before what is anticipated to be the final battle, Hermione insists on being divested of her virginity. In a house full of young boys and fatherly types, the only real choice is clear. The broody, dangerous Sirius Black. The only one she can count on to leave feelings and emotions out of it, right? Nothing is that simple. Such an amazing, authentic feel to this story. It was like sitting in the room. All of the nervousness, passion, and need felt like my own. Always a thrill to find something masterfully written for an unusual pairing. This was brilliant.

Emmy - I abso loved this fic. It was posted the same day as the Brolin-Sex-RiotTM occurred on Twitter. What a great combo! :) This fic is realistic and tentative and then super hot. I WANT A SEQUEL!!!!!

It had me laughing and crying and its so well written. jandco really does an amazing job at capturing canon Edward, I fell in love with him all over again and this story reminded me almost 3 years later why I started reading fic. This story picks up in the ballet studio and a Edward sucks the venom from Bella’s wrist her blood turns out to be his antidote and Edward wakes up 3 days later human...What follows is beautiful and I just loved the journey it took me on

Emmy- This truly is a beautiful story. The author has left us in a lovely place. With a future not set in stone but looking good. I love both Merlin and Arthur in this.

Chele - That’s right. For those of you who didn’t get enough last week, I’ve got more Harry/Draco/Severus Threeway! This one is a bit less light-hearted, as all parties are very much in character. Severus is broody and intense, and I love the way they all interact with one another. The personality dynamics are perfect. This story is pushing this threesome to the top of my list. Unf.

Teal - I was quite a few chapters behind on this one and had to catch up on updates, but boy was it worth the wait! After all the hurty, I love the journey these two have taken to get back together, and the reunion sex? UNF x100000000 so good!

Corie The love and trust they have established again is amazing to see the relationship working at this angle and him being free to love her with all of himself. The reunion sex was a 10 for sure lol.


One Direction, RPF, Harry/Louis
Posy - This is a super fast read at only 423 words, but somehow sadtomatoff conveys how sweet and pure the love so many of us see between Harry and Louis, even when dirty talk in involved. 

Jen - I’m sort of frightened at how much I need Harry & Louis to be REAL. Stories like this soothe the worries of my shippin’ heart. 

Chele - I just want to nuzzle this ficlet. Adorable and filthy.



Merlin, Slash, Gwaine/Merlin
Posy - I stayed up all night long reading this very honest story. I loved Gwaine, a high school pot dealer who finds not only a new client in the new kid at school, but something he hadn’t quite bargained for. Each time I read how Gwaine described Merlin though his eyes, I swear I could see Merlin … er, Colin’s face. :) 

Jen - I looooove this story. It’s a longer one shot, and it really gave the author time to develop the characters. Gwaine is the best. He’s so hooked on Merlin, and just adorable as he figures out how to let Merlin know that he really, really likes him.

Chele - I found these characters achingly honest. There is such a strong pull between Gwain and Merlin and yet it takes quite a bit for their inhibitions to lower, and their intimate friendship to truly mature into the romance and intensity that is apparent from the start. I love the matter-of-fact portrayal of Gwaine’s job, and the small tidbits that are thrown in that make it feel real and kept me hooked. Excellent story.

Corie - I can’t say enough how much I love this story and Lord Masen just DOES IT FOR ME. This week’s update had me on my knees, watching her take a bath and her playing with him like she didn’t know he was there, lead to some off the charts fucking js.

Jen - King Arthur on his knees for Merlin. Who is wearing the crown. a;kjdfklasdjfasdfj 

Emmy - This fic is fabbytastic!! A beautiful fic full of smutty charm and yum. Plus what Jen said... **key smashes**

Chele - Fairies, magical mushrooms, Severus Snape as an animagus, and a whole lot of dirty talk and sexual tension all wrapped up in a threeway. This fic was made to live under my hippie skirt. Chele - While I’m generally drawn to Transformer’s fic because of its treatment of sexuality in the absence of gender, I am intrigued on Asher’s take on Transformers Prime canon mentions of being “glitched” in reference to one who is drawn to other same gendered bots. The setting allows the author a unique freedom to explore the stereotypes that can take root in a militaristic culture, and the intense attraction that finds its way to the forefront despite all resistance. The wicked heat of sexual chemistry between Knock-Out and Scarscream doesn't hurt my feelings either.

Perfect, his confusion, fears, worry and heart are all just so wonderfully captured its just.

Corie - I spent a day with this story and just fell in love with the characters and their struggles. Bella is a misguided girl who in an act of love does something outrageous by looking for a man to get her pregnant. She thinks she's found the perfect turkey baster in Edward Cullen, only things get complicated when they fall head over heals for each other. What could be bad about that you ask? Edward doesn’t know he's being used as a turkey baster, enter drama, and heartache. The physical chemistry written between these two is off the charts. Beautifully written in the author's unique style. I just really enjoyed it.
Game of Thrones, Sandor Clegane/Sansa Stark, Complete
Corie - This may be one of the best GoT fic’s I’ve read, period. I can’t tell you how beautifully written these characters are. I was blown away. There is pain, angst and some of the most loving scenes. The sensuality between The Hound and Sansa is startling and to see how powerful a story can be in just 3 chapters is breathtaking. I say if you love these two characters this is a must read.

Chele This fic is even more powerful on the second read-through with the canon fresh in my head. Sexy, strong and intense.

Corie - I had so much fun with this funny, sweet story. I was laughing out loud multiple times. Bella goes on tour with her brother’s band as their Merch girl, where she meets the lead singer of the headlining band and hijinx ensue. I loved each character and the relationships between them. It’s hot and sweet and just fun!
Star Trek - reboot, Kirk/Spock, Slash, Mpreg, Angst, teens
Posy - I’m supposed to be writing a novel for Camp NaNoWriMo this month, but I’ve spent the last two days reading about Spock’s pregnancy at the hands of Kirk, thanks to the lovely rec by Melooza on my twitter feed. DON’T run away. Please. *begs* I know mpreg isn’t something a lot of people read because it is “not realistic” or whatever. Well, who knows what Vulcan biology is really all about? This is a beautiful story that has been a WIP for awhile. You have 40 chapters plus a few interludes to start with. The main smut is in chapter one, but there are flashbacks to it which are so sweet and tenderly remembered, and I’m super duper hopeful that there may be more in the future. Far, far, far beyond the smut, this is a brilliantly told story of another world’s culture, the social stigma of teen pregnancy on that world, the forced maturity that happens when becoming a parent, Spock essentially being alone and wishing the blond haired dad who helped create this life were involved, and then the consequences that happen years later when Spock and Kirk meet at Starfleet Academy. I have honestly not been able to do anything but read this, even though I supposed to be writing an amazingly hot wank scene in my book. Haha. Run. Don’t walk toward this mpreg because you will not be disappointed in how rich this story is told. 

Chele - I’m not going to lie, I stumbled upon this fic several months ago seeking only Kirk/Spock smut of the most delectable variety. As Posy mentions, this story delivers on that gratifyingly early in the story, and it is intense, and almost hyper-real. The big surprise, however, is that this story has managed to hold my attention through the following thirty or so chapters (Don’t check the word count, you don’t want to know, and once you start, you won’t care) with the aftermath of this intimacy. I am ACHING for these two to find their way back to one another, but meanwhile, I’m riveted to the updates by the intricate plot and multi-faceted characters.

Teal - I just...UNF and more UNF. That’s all I’ve done through this story because JFC, there’s never been a fic like this. I want to roll around in allllll the loving.

Jen - Draco spent years secretly pining for Hermione, sending the Order helpful information via anonymous letters. It takes some time, but as Hermione is caring for the badly injured Draco they eventually admit they’d been thinking of one another for years. Teal - Awwww....these two. The drama came, but they stayed sweet and fluffy, bound together through it. I kind of have a crush on Edward Sr., too. I like seeing these Masen men step up to the plate! 

Corie - I swear to god these two make me swoon. I can’t get enough of these kids and the love between them.

Emmy - So poor Arthur has been hit by yet another spell, but this one instead of making him act all loony in love for some random bird/princess is making him moon all over Merlin and say very naughty things to him... Merlin can’t help but not really want to reverse it, but he does try his best. But what happens when NONE of the antidotes have any effect? What if its not a love potion at all?....... Fabby fic, made me really chuckle at times and its sexy too. Merlin is adorable and clueless and Arthur is pained and beligerent and wanting very filthy things from his manservant. Perfect read for a bad day... READ IT!

Jen - I just love this fic from the Merlin kinkmeme. The language is gorgeous and gives an ethereal, mythic feeling to the historical setting. And that beautiful writing of course carries over into the longing they feel for one another and their sexytimes. So good. 

Emmy - I am both extremely happy and sad that this fic is complete. Totally adored this and how much Arthur and Merlin could communicate without language. Beautiful and amazing and just I NEED A SEQUEL//OUTTAKE. I Need to know about their new lives. Just fabby. The scenes with Arthur on his own desperately searching are SO well done. I just. Gah!

Corie - This historical story set in 12th century Scotland is what I’m currently reading and loving. The fire and intensity between E and B is so win. I’m about halfway through and so excited to see what lies ahead for these characters in this completed story.

Jen - I hope I never tire of reading uptight!Arthur falls for utterly his opposite Merlin. This is another spawn of the Merlin kinkmeme. Lots of UST, some angst & misunderstandings, grand gestures, and a verrrry hot romp in Arthur’s bed. 

Emmy - I adored this when it was WIP on the fantastic KinkMeMerlinMeme. But I still had to reread when it was de-anon’d. Perfect fic is perfect!!!
Harry Potter, Complete, Draco/Hermione
Chele - A reflection on war, the toll it can take on a soul, and the way it can create a place for love and hope, this post-Hogwarts era fic is gritty, a bit dark, and completely awesome. Draco is working for the Order, fighting and planning battles against death eaters, alongside various members of the Order and DA who stay in safe houses in between missions. He is amazingly in character, harsh, rigid, and powerful, which makes it all the more awesome that a deep and believable connection develops between he and Hermione. Their connection seeps into the reader like warm sunshine through a winter window, driving away the coldness and desperation. When they find eachother physically, in addition to being scorchingly hot, it perfectly illustrates their changing needs and new bonds are forged through courage under fire. This fic will make your soul ache, your heart soar, and your pants disappear.
