We are Pervs that dig the danger and maybe even the fur that comes with being a Pack lover. Team PackPerv isn’t afraid to take on the shape shifters of Quileute. We welcome all the sexy possibilities that come walking on the wild side. So join us in the sunlight and run with the wolves. As always clothing is optional.

The Team PackPerv Pick is...

Title: Meant to Be
Author: Fr333bird
Chapters: 24
Words: 98,071
Reviews: 978
Summary: "The first time I see Riley, my eyes lock onto him and I can't look away." Seth and Riley's lives are shattered by events beyond their control. Can they overcome the challenges they face and still be together? Slash, AU, contains wolves and vamps.

DareisMai
Let me preface this by saying that although I’ve enjoyed several AU, canon based vamp stories, I usually sit in the all human spectrum of Twi fics. Rarer are the “Pack” fics that grab my attention, although I’ve always had an open mind to reading absolutely any pairing as long as it was well written. Today’s Team PackPerv pick is one of those stories, which I eagerly read
because I know the author, Fr333bird, writes so well.

Meant to Be is a beautifully rendered slash story with a touch of angst. Fr333bird does a lovely job showing how Seth and Riley first meet, fall in love, and explore all the stages of young love and sex, together for the first time. The emotions are real, true, and the lemons are by turns sweet and scorchingly hot.

Then he's beside me again, and his hands are sliding my underwear down impatiently. And then Riley's lying on the bed beside me, pulling me into his arms and we're both gloriously, wonderfully naked. Warm skin brushes warm skin as we kiss and touch everything we can reach. Our mouths find each other's lips, earlobes, necks and shoulders. Our legs tangle, cocks brush together, hands stroke and clutch and grab.

Riley rolls me onto my back again and moves down my body, following the path that he took earlier. When he reaches my belly button my fingers tangle in the short, soft spikes of his hair and my heart feels like it's about to beat right out of my chest as he moves lower still and kisses either side of where my cock lies hard and aching, his lips tickling the hair at my groin. I make an incoherent whimpering sound and he looks up at me again, his chin almost grazing my dick.

"Can I?" He asks me.

The story continues through the canon events of the Pack coming into existence, imprinting, Leah’s heartbreak, Seth becoming a member of Sam’s pack, and how that affects the two boys. Other canon events including the vampires exist as well, until it veers left and creates a potentially tragic and heartbreaking event for the boys. There are a few tweaks to the canon
mythology, but they’re organic and integral to the story. I won’t say more so as not to spoil, so just go and read
Meant to Be. I promise it will be worth your while.

Jess
Like Fardareismai, I rarely read Pack fics, but I, too, have become a fan of Fr333bird’s other stories and her decided to give this one a chance. I can honestly say Meant to Be captivated me from chapter one.

I fell in love with both Riley and Seth early on in this story. From their first encounter on the beach to their subsequent run-ins at school and on the bus, you just know something is going to happen and that things are going to be just a bit different than we might expect.

The first time I see Riley, my eyes lock onto him and I can't look away. I'm sitting on the beach at La Push with my friends, letting the warm sand trickle idly through my fingers as we talk and joke around. It's a beautiful Saturday afternoon in late spring and we've all been tempted out by the unusually warm sunshine.

I lift my head and glance along the beach, and then I see him.

I freeze, my mouth half open, my hand now empty as the last grains of sand escape. Suddenly my focus is entirely devoted to the boy who's just walked onto the beach with Embry. His skin's paler than most of the Quileutes and his hair is brown rather than black, but his eyes are dark like mine. He's slender and graceful, and when he turns his head and smiles at something that Embry says his face lights up. The only thought in my head is that I've never seen such a beautiful boy before. I can't stop staring as Embry catches sight of our group and heads towards us.

As the story progresses, we find that both boys are kind, mature, and share an important bond in the loss of their fathers. Early on we discover they’re both gay and both relatively inexperienced, neither really ever having had the opportunity to do more. I loved this because we were able to move past the question of “are they gay” to the more exciting stuff, like watching their relationship grow and mature... on every level. The pace and the way they connected felt completely natural as they spent a lot of time hanging out and talking. What ensues is a lot of UST... until there’s not, as they explore and experience new firsts with each other.

First kisses.

Skinny dipping in the freezing cold ocean water.

Hand jobs, blow jobs, and finally... the sexy, sexy times.

Everything between them just flows and is reciprocated and feels so right without all the crazy angst or heartache that we so often find in slash stories. This is one of my favorite moments from early in the story when things are starting to get steamy.

"Do you wanna go back to the fire to warm up?" I ask him.

"Not yet," Riley says. "I want you all to myself for a little longer."

I don't know where he got his courage from tonight but I'm glad he's found it. I'm happy for him to take control here.

He steps close to me again and pulls me into his arms. I miss the feel of his bare skin under my hands but the heat that builds quickly between us makes up for it. My dick fills and I feel him hard against me as he pulls my hips close and rubs against me, making me moan. I'm all twisted up with want and need - breathless, desperate for more.

"Oh, God, Riley," I murmur as he breaks away from my lips and I feel his tongue on my throat and his teeth scrape my skin.

"I've wanted to do this since the first time I saw you," he whispers against my cheek, his voice soft in my ear.

"Me too," I gasp a laugh as his tongue flickers on my earlobe. "I'm glad we haven't wasted too much time."

And then we're kissing again, focused on the push-pull of wet lips and the slide of tongues until we hear the sounds of footsteps approaching and high-pitched giggling.

Fr333bird does a masterful job of weaving in canon and non-canon elements into the story, changing those that don’t quite fit without making them feel completely awkward and weird. I don’t want to say a lot here about what happens for fear of revealing some critical story elements, but the remainder of the story hands up more about the wolves, imprinting, vampire attacks, and unexpected situations that complicate Riley and Seth’s relationship. We also get a really nice dose into the heartbreak some of the characters must deal with, while at the same time watching new love bloom.

This story is compelling, very well-written, and will make you fall in love with Pack fics. There are twists and turns, swoons, and all sorts of hot lemony bits. Seriously, give Meant to Be a read. Make sure you leave Fr333bird some love, and tell her the Pervs sent you!

Emmy
Hey chaps. This will have to be a quick one from me as I'm currently ill in bed and away on holiday in Europe. But I just had to drop in and love on this fic. I too am not always enamoured by pack fics. I'm really not a Paul fan and that often gets in my way.

However I am a huge Riley fan. Very much so. And love to see him in fics. I am also a lover of all things Seth. Unfortunately there are way way way too many Seth as a cliche fics. Seth the power bottom, Seth as a flaming stereotype - you know the fics of which I refer. This thankfully is nothing like any of these. Seth is a fully rounded teenage boy. Coming to terms with his lot in life. He's real and all the more fabulous for it. The same for Riley. You feel their emotions from hesitancy and burgeoning attraction to deep lust and love no matter the other challenges that come their way. And that is its strength. I'm a real fan of fr333bird's writing (especially her Merthur) and this tale does not disappoint! If you love slash and real characters you will love this.

Jen
I was so excited when Fr333bird started posting Meant to Be. Partly because I have loved her other, AH stories, but also because I so love a good AU. I knew this fic promised to have some interesting twists to canon, and I wondered what would happen to two characters who I can’t get enough of.

It would be impossible not to fall in love with these characters in the first chapter. They’re young- high school boys- and it’s clear that they find each other attractive. Their mutual crush starts at their first meeting, furtive glances, smiles, and blushing included. They have a lot in common, too. Both have lost their dads, and this connection helps to quickly build their emotional ties.

Even though Fr333bird says the story is AU right up front, for the first few chapters it isn’t totally obvious. Gradually we get teases of how the story might go- random disappearances, bodies in the woods, and an increasing number of Quileute boys with fevers. I love that the canon references are subtle instead of hitting us over the head. It leaves you guessing and anticipating everything that’s to come. The twists to canon make it feel like a whole new story, and not just a retelling of Twilight.

So many times the characters in high school fics sound like they’re 17 going on 30. Not so here; Seth and Riley sound and act like teenagers. Being teenage boys, they’re horny all the time. They keep things quiet at school, but their restraint during the day makes afternoons and weekends spent together all that much more fun. As the other Pervs have said, the lemons are hot indeed.

We roll around on my bed for a while, and we get hard and horny as usual. He's still straddling me, grinding slowly, exquisitely against me as we kiss. I feel waves of pleasure rising but they're edged with an unfamiliar, almost unbearable tension and I lose myself in it.

I flip him over with a growl and he gasps in surprise, but grins as he lies there, looking up at me expectantly. I pull his shirt up and off and tear at mine, hearing the fabric rip as I strip it over my head. I claim his mouth again, pinning his arms over his head and covering his body with mine, my hips undulating against his as he rocks beneath me and moans into my mouth. I've lost all control now and I know that I'm going to come in my pants but I'm past caring. With a final thrust I feel my cock pulse, hot and wet inside my clothing. I bite down on Riley's shoulder to muffle a harsh cry that escapes from my mouth. I collapse over him, shuddering and gasping as I release my bruising grip on his wrists. His arms close around me and hold me, steadying me until my breathing slows.

The mysterious events in Forks and La Push will draw you in, and the way these events affect our sweet couple will keep you glued to the screen. So, make sure you clear your schedule; Meant to Be is complete, and I know you’re going to want to read it straight through!

The PackPerv Pick is...

Title:
Seven Days
Author: IdpatThat
Chapters: 9
Words: 25,437
Reviews: 138
Summary: He spent ninety years searching for vengeance, but his eternity is about to be cut short. With seven days left, he'll find that there are much more important things worth fighting for. AU, Edward/Leah.

Jeanne
One of the beauties of an alternate universe is that you can make the rules up as you go along and that includes changing character’s back stories. Through a few simple changes to Edward’s history IdpatThat effectively changed his future too, but she also opened up the possibility for a new (though very different) love story. A true Romeo and Juliet story about two very different people, natural enemies, that find solace and love in each other.

Edward is a dark, (delightfully) snarkier version of his canon self. He is still Carlisle’s son, weighed down by responsibility and expectations, but he also carries heartache and rage over a previous love lost to tragedy. This changes the direction of Edward’s immortal life giving him a purpose, though a much darker one, that drives him and matures him in some ways. All in all, this is still the Edward we know and love, only better (in my opinion). He is a man, focused and determined, but also humbled by the knowledge of true loss.

Leah is, well she is still very much the Leah we know (and love). She is brash, brazen and bitchy as ever. Yet, in the face of this strange new possibility of love we see a different Leah emerge. The bitterness fades, replaced by hope and wonder and even passion. Honestly, if I weren’t a Leah fangirl already this refreshing, heartfelt portrayal of a woman discovering a second chance at love would have quickly turned me into a lover of the tenacious she-wolf.

The pacing of the story is fast, the title says it all and IdpatThat is unrelenting even as she weaves an intricate tale of love, vengeance and second chances. Every words is packed with power and meaning. Every moment is an unexpected treasure and when you get to the end you will wish, just like Edward and Leah, that there was more time. Or in this case more chapters.

Few Twilight fan fics create a wholly new, yet still familiar universe. Fewer still make it their own, while still keeping the characters familiar and even fewer manage all that, while also writing a wonderful love story. Seven Days is all that and some of the best sex scenes I have ever seen written. Really do I need to say more?

Jen
The last time we were flailing over IdpatThat in a full review it was for the Team Anything Goes review of Accidental Atonement. Seven Days is also an Edward/Leah fic. This time IdpatThat has written an amazing AU fic. It’s not a secret that I love vamp/wolf stories nor that I like my stories with a healthy portion of angst. Seven Days is all that and more.

The following passage reveals so much that’s essential to this story and to these characters.
Leah gasped slightly when my body pressed against hers. The heat of her body seemed to radiate through my cold skin, blanketing me like direct sunlight.

My eyes traveled down and focused on her mouth. Before I could do anything she moved. It was quick, inhuman. Her arms were around my neck and her lips were pressed to mine in less than a second.

It was like worlds colliding. I could feel the earth trembling beneath our feet but as her body curved against mine nothing else seemed to matter. My hands slid from her face as I pulled back. Her eyes were wide with astonishment as they focused on my mouth again.

So much of this story is about opposing forces and feelings. Edward has two different worlds colliding: the Volturi ways vs the Cullen family ways, and the wolf and vamp worlds. Edward and Leah both have internal battles over how they regard one another. Leah in particular tries to resist the urge to trust Edward, to be attracted to Edward. Besides the whole mortal enemies thing, she’s got the pack aware that she’s spending time with Edward, and every one of them warns her to be careful. I like to think that the contrary part of Leah is more convinced to go with her gut feelings about Edward because of the pack warnings, particularly Sam’s.

There’s an underlying sense of sadness and angst throughout the story. Edward is on borrowed time. Leah has to work hard at blocking the pack mind. Even though I’m desperately in love with these two and was so excited to read every chapter as it posted, I really adore the bittersweet nature of the story. They open up to each other in ways they haven’t been able to be open with their families. They open up to each other even though their time together is limited.

Just as Edward and Leah fit a lot in to their few days together, so does IdpatThat with the story itself. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: I love when an author chooses a format or length that is just so very perfect for their story.

I think it’s perfect as is. Do I wonder about their lives after the events of the final chapter? Yes, definitely. But there’s something so intense, so achy (masochist, anyone?) about the way it ends that I’m swoony over it. That said, I will definitely read anything extra that IdpatThat has to say about these characters!

Jess
I am not even sure where to begin. I can tell you that I absolutely adored it the first time I read it, and when I reread it to write this review, my reaction was even stronger. This isn’t your typical love story, although the resolution at the end is absolutely perfect (even if it left me wanting - read, BEGGING - for more... which IdpatThat is graciously going to post soon).

Leah is an extremely rich character. While she has often been painted as bitchy and bitter, she is so much more in this story. On the surface she comes off that way, but when you scratch and dig a little, you find a woman who is deeply loyal to her family, bears the pain of a loss so acute it’s hard to stomach, and is capable of a deep, deep love. She’s also sarcastic as hell, and that’s what stands out when she initially meets Edward.
"You're different than the other ones I've seen. You smell different, too," she said taking a small step forward.

"You can…smell me?" I raised an eyebrow.

"It's weird. You smell… sweet."

I grinned. "Aw, that's nice of you."

"Too sweet actually," she explained and wrinkled her nose. "It's kind of disgusting. It's making me feel nauseated."

"You sweet-talker, you. No woman has ever said that to me," I said with a sarcastic press of my hand over my cold, dead heart.
The two of them have amazing banter and great snark, both of which characterize the give and take, the back and forth of their natural enemy relationship.

Edward has all his true canon characteristics, so nothing stood out in that respect. I think what I really loved about him, was getting a glimpse into his thoughts, how he thought about and viewed Leah. As I would have expected, he appreciated her strength and loyalty. But it was the way she made him feel, the way she made him come alive that was so beautifully portrayed (and one of the many reasons I loved this story). Here’s a little glimpse:
She was beautiful, that was a given. Leah was different than the women I usually kept company with. Well, not that I actually had a lot of time to pursue a relationship, or that I even wanted one. Pursuing a deadly vampire murderer kind of put a damper on that. Besides, most times I was content with the friendships and familial bonds that had been created with Alice, Esme, and even Rosalie.

But Leah… being around her the past couple of days made me feel lighter, freer. She was easy to be around, and she didn't ask or expect any more than I could offer. She certainly didn't try to change my mind about what I was doing. Maybe it took a killer to understand one.

It was strange, and I wasn't quite sure if I liked it.
Things weren’t easy between them, both struggling to deal with their differences and the way things should be, but in the end it becomes too much. Couple that intensity with Leah’s desire to push back against the lack of choice in imprinting, and you get a very liberated woman. By some fluke, she chose him just as he chose her.

There are so many powerful scenes that I could talk about. One of my faves plays out after Edward takes down a vampire. When he reaches for Leah she flinches and he realizes, with horror, that she was terrified of him. He reads and sees the images of his actions and lets her go (which just about did me in). But that pain gives way to pleasure in a very intense and sexy scene.
"You taste sweet," Leah said through heavy breaths. I smiled and left a teasing kiss on the corner of her mouth as my hands slipped under her t-shirt. I moved slowly so as not to rip the flimsy material, but I wanted nothing more than to see her. She let me remove her shirt, revealing bare skin, and pulled me closer. I braced my hands behind her, trying to keep myself from touching her though that's all I could think about.

"Please," she whispered and touched my face softly. I let my hands fall from the broad oak to her warm skin, the imprint of my palms evident in the bark. I watched her face as my fingers met her skin again. They moved over her collarbone and rested over her pounding heart. That was the main way Leah was different than the other women I'd encountered in my years. She was alive. Blood pumped through her veins, calling to me. It flooded her skin when I touched her. It let me know that I was doing something right with her.

My hands ran over the swell of her breasts and she arched against me with a soft moan. I smiled and bent toward her, letting my nose skim the side of her face. Her smell was different than a human. Underneath the woodsy, musky scent was something so distinct to Leah. It was sweet but spicy, like cinnamon. Carefully, I let my tongue trace her skin just under her ear.

"You taste sweet, too," I said with my lips to her ear. Leah froze at the contact; I pulled back and, for the first time since we'd kissed, her eyes showed something besides a desperate want and need.

::swoon and flails and fans self::

Leah steals the show in this story. She is beautiful and sexy and so, so strong. This is a great story to cut your teeth on if you want to give Leah a shot. She is worth it. This story is so worth it. Seriously, go read it and leave IdpatThat some love!

Title:Not Strong Enough
Author: Oh Jasper My Jasper
Chapters: 7
Words:35,747

Oh Jasper My Jasper’s newest fic, Not Strong Enough, is an interesting pairing.Twislash almost always seems to star Edward and Jasper, and if one of the wolfpack is involved, it's almost always Jacob. So, this combination of Jasper and Paul is a bit different, particularly given that it's written from Paul's point of view. Canon Paul is something of a makeweight character – he's the hotheaded one in the pack, and that's about all Stephenie Meyer tells us about him. The nice thing about this is that it gives authors real scope to play with who he is.

Oh Jasper My Jasper does a beautiful job of exploring Paul's character in this story; he is still the prickly, physical guy we know from canon, but now we see that he has reasons behind his actions. He is fiercely loyal to his family/friendship group, to the point that his feelings for them outweigh his feelings for himself. Right from the start we discover that he and Jasper have a secret shared history, and that Paul needs to be somewhere without all of his perceived responsibilities before he can allow himself to follow his desires. Paul's discovery of himself – with Jasper's help – is full of the gung-ho feet-first bravery that characterises Paul; slowly finding out the details only serves to highlight how trapped he feels at home and made me really sympathise with him.

Of course, Paul's careful suppression of his feelings starts to falter once Jasper moves to Forks. Oh Jasper My Jasper layers the drama with each chapter as we find out more about Paul and Jasper, and how they each react to being thrown into close proximity. I particularly enjoyed the relationships between the guys from the rez – I don't read much wolfpack fic, so seeing the strands of responsibility and friendship pulling each of them in slightly different directions makes for interesting reading.

Jasper is unsurprisingly calm, quiet, and authoritative throughout this story. He's a strong character with a fearlessness that Paul doesn't have. Paul gives the feeling of a second-in-command without a superior officer – he may be drifting away from his own group, but he's not the sort of person who copes well on his own. Jasper's brave and forthright attitude matches perfectly to Paul's willingness to stand behind someone he believes in. As I read through Not Strong Enough I found that Paul and Jasper are a much more complementary partnership than I had expected and Oh Jasper My Jasper certainly deserves my thanks for making me like Paul for the first time.

If you've read an Oh Jasper My Jasper story before, you'll be glad to hear that the smut is up to the usual standard, although there's not a huge amount of it. On the whole this story is a little bit angsty, a little bit angry, and a whole lot of loveliness just desperate to escape. If you want a story about an unconventional partnership, teenage group rivalries, the pressures of expectation and a slow-burning tale of self-discovery and personal growth, then I think you'd enjoy this fic. Go on, you know you want to!

Jeanne

How much do I love Fire & Ice (vamp/wolfpack) pairings? A whole fuck of a lot! I still surprisesme how few authors have explored relationships that cross the species line, even in the All Human genre. Few pack boys are distinct and unforgettable as Paul. Whether you’re thinking of the poster boy for anger-management from canon or the slick, sexy wolf man, there is no denying that Paul has stuck in every Twifans mind. Hello, Alex Meraz! UNF!

If there is one Fire & Ice pairing that makes even more sense to me than my favorite (Ed/Jake) it is Jasper and Paul. The empath and the wolf who cannot control his emotions, they are a match made in angst town for sure. So obviously, when Jen recommended we read Not Strong Enough I was already excited, but nothing could prepare me for the how Oh Jasper My Jasper would do justice to this pairing I love so much. Bless you, Oh Jasper My Jasper, bless you.

Whether you’re a pack fan or a slash fan you will fall in love with the poignant story of love, courage and self discovery. Oh, and did I mention the eye-meltingly hot sex? Fuck yeah!

Jen
Jasper and Paul. At first glance it would be easy to dismiss this pairing as unrealistic- how could two so dominant characters work as a couple? Not Strong Enough should prove any doubters wrong. Oh Jasper My Jasper does a beautiful job demonstrating how the two actually complement one another. Jasper may be a dominant character, but his even emotional keel is a great counterpoint to Paul’s hot-headedness.

Not Strong Enough is told in Paul’s point of view, and it’s great to get inside his head. He’s a tough guy; he hasn’t had the easiest time growing up. He’s a part of the ‘have-nots’ at Forks High, yet he seems to see the world with more nuance than his friends do. The story is told through alternating segments of the present and flashbacks, and we soon learn why Paul is a bit more open-minded than the guys he hangs out with.

Jasper is part of the ‘haves’--called the Spooners in this story. I am only mildly embarrassed to admit that it took me til near the end of the story to realize that this nickname came from the phrase ‘silver spoons in their mouths’. Paul and Jasper meet when they spend the summer working at a camp. As I said, Paul is tough on the outside, but something he sees in Jasper allows him to share his vulnerability, and talk to Jasper about sexuality. They grow closer, and Jasper is happy to be Paul’s teacher in kissing and beyond. The kisses as written by Oh Jasper My Jasper are completely squirm inducing, and no doubt you’ll be cheering, as I was, when they go further.

His lips found mine again, and we kissed deeply as I felt the head of his cock pressing against me to gain entrance. I forced myself to stop thinking about the discomfort and slight pain, focusing instead on the idea of us joining together, becoming one. I breathed out with relief the moment the head of his cock was inside me, knowing the most difficult part was over. Jasper continued to kiss me passionately as he rocked gently, pulling back and pushing forward little by little, until he was finally fully inside me.

"All right?" he asked, causing me to open my eyes.

"Better than just all right." I looked up at him with a smile. "Damn incredible."

Alas, summer ends, and they have to go home. While Jasper is excited to realize he’s moving to the same town as Paul, Paul knows that they are in two very different cliques, and won’t be able to interact. The story moves into angst-ville, and Oh Jasper My Jasper is a master. You don’t see how it can work out, with the kids being as cruel as kids can be. I won’t spoil how the rest of the story unfolds, but I am sure you’ll be as captivated by it as I was. Consider yourselves lucky to be able to read it as a complete story! The week before chapter 7 posted was a long wait!

The storyline, with its intense highs and lows, is well suited to the novella format. Paul’s teenaged struggles feel very real--the excitement of first love and sexual exploration, the pain of living within a defined role due to the clique-ish nature of high school. So, even if you aren’t sure about Paul and Jasper, give Not Strong Enough a try.

Jess

I think I can count on one hand the number of packfics I’ve read, and yet, in the last week I’ve voraciously consumed two, this one included. From chapter one, I found myself completely drawn into Not Strong Enough. EvilGiraffe did a lovely job or really breaking down the characterizations for both Paul and Jasper, as well as giving us a really nice look at how the story unfolds. I think the part that really drew me in is how connected I felt to Paul.

Paul is angry and loyal and selfless and really just trying to keep his head above water. There are, of course, reasons for this that unfold relatively quickly. As they do, you can’t help but pull for him, especially when the pieces of his relationship with Jasper begin to unfold. From their first real conversation, I was mesmerized and even found myself chuckling at how Jasper latched onto tops/bottoms stereotypes so quickly, making assumptions about what Paul would and wouldn’t be in to.

Of course, you know I’m a UST junkie... and to be honest, there’s not a ton. It sort of all just happens, but it’s the hesitance, the exploration, the growth that drew me in.

I didn't even realize he was leaning towards me until I felt his soft lips brush against mine. I jumped a little, startled, but when he moved to pull away, I reached up and curled my hand around his neck, keeping him in place and kissing him back as well as I was able given my general inexperience. He yielded, bringing his left hand up to stroke my cheek. His lips parted as he sucked in my lower lip and outlined it with his tongue. I felt a shiver run through my body, and I knew this was the best, most right, I'd ever felt in my life. We kept kissing, catching a breath here and there through our noses, but otherwise joined together, without interruption, for I didn't know how long. It was more than amazing; I never wanted it to end. But when I finally felt him pulling away, I knew I had to let him go. With much regret, I loosened my hold on his neck and mourned the loss as he shifted back into his chair.

"Shit." His breathy voice was slightly awed.

That was a glimpse into their first kiss, but there are so many other great moments. As the others said, it’s not smut heavy, and truthfully, I’m not sure it would have been nearly as great if it had been. The tone and narrative of this story was spot on, in my book.

If you are looking for something that bites at the heart, then this one is for you. Oh Jasper My Jasper has hinted at the possibility of an epilogue in the future. I’m keeping my fingers crossed as I would love, love, love a glimpse at what the future holds for these two!

Make sure to leave Oh Jasper My Jasper some love, and tell her The Pervs sent you!

Teal

It’s a “different side of the tracks” love story... They met apart from their own worlds, unknowingly falling for someone the “real world” would want to keep them away from, and boy oh boy does life try to fuck them over. Told in a clever juxtaposition of flashbacks and the present to reveal who the characters are, how they met, and where they currently stand, this story is full of deep characters, complicated circumstances, and best of all, the purity of young love and discovery.

But life has a way of marring that which is pure and innocent...sweet and cherished.

One is out and hated, the other only recently having admitted his true feelings to himself. Neither knows how to handle their circumstances, and I’m glad that there wasn’t an attempt to make either character have some miraculous solution for their situation because, let’s be honest, they’re high school kids. They’re in love, and they’re mature beyond their years, but they don’t have all the answers. That’s reality. That’s where the ugliness, the separation, and the heartache come into play.

I absolutely love this fic because it took two of my favorite characters, slashed them up, and smooshed them together in sweet love and dirty, awesome sex. It’s short but powerful, and an absolute...well, what would you call an internet-based version of a page-turner? A mouse-clicker? A nonstop-scroller? Whatever you call it, I couldn’t stop reading from the instant I started this story. The ending is so amazing and wonderful, I wanted to copy the final line of the story and paste it on my Facebook page like a sentimental teenager.

Hot, hot boys, flangst, and love. What more could you ask for?

Team PackPerv: Sexy Seth Clearwater

Photobucket
We are Pervs that dig the danger and maybe even the fur that comes with being a Pack lover. Team PackPerv isn’t afraid to take on the shape shifters of Quileute. We welcome all the sexy possibilities that come walking on the wild side. So join us in the sunlight and run with the wolves. As always clothing is optional.

In this very special Team PackPerv post we’re going to turn our attention on the youngest member of the wolf pack: Seth Clearwater. While his part in the Twilight saga was relatively small, Seth has taken on a whole new life in fan fiction. Here we have a sampling of some sexy, smutty Seth Clearwater fic that we know you will enjoy.

Chemistry of a Car Crash by Dahlia J Black Shows a human Seth that is the object of his co-worker, Angela’s secret obsession. The intense connection and obvious attraction between these two smothers through the story, give us some insane UST. Watching these two dance around each other is hypnotic and maddening. You know they want it, they know they want it, but Dahlia J Black is a harsh mistress who makes us wait for it.

When the tension builds up, taking them to the breaking point, they finally confront each other and the resulting sex scene is fucking explosive. Dahlia J Black gives us an adult Seth. A mature, commanding man who is in charge of his sexual power, but underneath it all he still loves with the intensity of the wolfboy we know and love.

Let’s face it....... we all know, and love Say Something Else by vampireisthenewblack. While many of us often rave and swoon over the love between Edward and Alec, few highlight the important roll that Seth plays in the story.

Seth is the one that saves Edward from his down-spiral of grief and self-accusation. His kindness and willingness to share Edward’s heart is one of the most powerful acts of love I have ever seen in fiction. This incarnation of Seth is one of the generous partners that you will ever find in fan fiction.

I Possed My Lover in the Garden by SqueakyZorro is a story about new beginnings and the healing of wounds. Here, Seth is Esme’s sun, or rather her gardener, but his warmth brings her back to life. This story is about the slow, smother of passion and love. Again Seth is a generous and open lover, who seeks only to give Esme what she needs and doesn’t make demands of her. That is the beauty of Seth as a lover, his giving and kindness is a rarity in regards to most romantic leads in Twific. He doesn’t force his lovers into submission, he simply gives them whatever they need, that is the very soul of unconditional love.

Once We Were Kings by Sweetp-1 could be called a classic Seth fic. This is an AU fic, where wolf Seth and vamp Edward fall in love. It’s not an instant attraction, but develops slowly as they get to know one another and become friends, confidants, lovers. Off at university, Seth imprints on a young lady at a coffee shop. It’s heartbreaking--we feel both Edward and Seth’s pain so acutely--but it’s written so beautifully you can’t possibly hate the author for hurting our sweet boys. Aaaand there’s also the additional five chapters, wherein our hearts are may be healed.

A Split Second of Indecision by Dahlia J Black is a portrait of inner turmoil, that shows the agony of coming to terms with a reality too long denied. As he prepares to walk down the aisle to marry Bella, Jacob’s mind and body pull him toward his other best friend, Seth. Jacob’s reminiscing of their shared history show Seth’s strength of character and sweet sense of humor and fun. He proves irresistible.

The erotic build is slow, but once these boys find their comfort zone, the physical intensity is only matched by the deep emotion.

The Whipping Boy by Fr333bird and beckybrit Some of canon Seth’s most endearing qualities have to be his sense of loyalty and capacity for acceptance. His positive attitude sees his pack though many tense moments, and these traits are definitely present in The Whipping Boy, an dark, and intense AU fic.

While there is agony in this story, it only serves to highlight these traits as Seth undergoes torture at the hands of the Volturi in order to protect the secret location of Renesmee and Jacob while Edward is forced to watch. Their bonds are forged in agonizing circumstances, and the discovery of their feelings for one another are a revelation for them both. We love the way that these two create a universe for themselves, reveling in their love as if it didn't matter if it was the end of their lives, or the beginning of their future together.

Team PackPerv: Turn and Face the Strange

Photobucket

We are Pervs that dig the danger and maybe even the fur that comes with being a Pack lover. Team PackPerv isn’t afraid to take on the shape shifters of Quileute. We welcome all the sexy possibilities that come walking on the wild side. So join us in the sunlight and run with the wolves. As always clothing is optional.

The Team PackPerv Pick is...
Title: Turn and Face the Strange
Author: Tuesdaymidnight
Chapters: 8
Words: 48,371
Reviews: 215
Summary: Jacob Black's life is weird. Not only does he shift into a wolf, now he's fighting with his oldest friend over a guy and dealing with a bunch of vampires no one has been able to spot. M/M slash. AU. The Cullens are human. Rated M.

Jeanne - Well fuck me sideways if I didn’t love this sweet, strange and fantastic AU Jakeward fic! Tuesdaymidnight being Tuesdaymidnight never approaches a story in quite the way you expect and that is especially so when it comes to pairing Edward and Jacob.

Turn and Face the Strange is a story about discovering who you are and finding your soul mate all at the same time. In many ways, Jacob’s journey is not unlike all adolescents. Everything in his world, even his body is changing in strange and uncontrollable ways. The discovery that his imprint is a male, and how that reflects on how he perceives himself is one of the most beautiful and refreshingly drama-free parts of this story.

I’m sure the other girls will tell you all about the main plot of the story, which let me tell is a fantastic re-imaging of the events of New Moon, but I’m a Slash-WussPerv at heart. My heart was won the second I met these two adorable, sincere boys and watched them fall in love. Tuesdaymidnight’s will forever have a special place in my heart because the nail biting, angst in this fic has very little to do with our gay boys relationship. Seriously Tuesdaymidnight, I cannot say THANK YOU enough for that.

I’m not going to wax poetic about this fic all night, though I totally could. What I will say is that it’s a wonderful, well rounded take on AU Slash that you haven’t seen before. Jacob and Edward are themselves, though there are some small differences, and all the other characters are as vibrant as our leads.

Side note: I was extremely charmed by the vampires in this fic, though they aren’t the main focus of the story, and I would love for Tuesdaymidnight to write more about the Nomads. *nudge nudge*

Read this story! This is not a request or even a suggestion. READ THE FUCKING STORY NOW! You won’t regret it. I promise. ;)

Emmy - Well hello there Perv Packers.... I am a huge fan/slut for Tuesdaymidnight and a total slag for Edward with boys :) Regardless of the pairing this is a gorgeous and cute HS fic about finding love and LUST along the way! What makes it extra cute is the way that the two male leads have been written. Adorable (& horny!) = perfection! It was really nice to read a fic where there was no grudge between the vamps and wolves. NO leech versus dog comments. Yep - none of that bollocks!

What I did love about this fic was the gay vamps. Stroke of genius. And a great role model for a sexually confused supernatural being such as Jake. The exploration of Jake’s development into said supernatural being, his imprinting AND his imprinting being on a bloke were all handled with aplomb. This fic is short but sweet.
Looky looky at what I mean!

We kissed then, like in a silly fairy tale, until I killed the moment by my stomach growling.

Edward broke the kiss laughing.

"What?" I said, rubbing my stomach. "I have to keep the wolf happy. I was so nervous I could barely eat all day."

"Then we should probably get you home. I'm sorry you were so nervous because of me."

"Well, I didn't know how you would react to it. I was completely wigged out when I found out about the wolf thing, and I'm one of them. The fact that you seem so accepting of it is weird."

"I've always wanted to believe things like magic were real. It's kind of awesome, really. It's like you're an animagus."

"A what?"

"Ugh, I can't believe you've never read Harry Potter."
Aren’t they just super cutie’s? (plus HP reference ftmfw!)
Turn and Face the Strange has a lovely youthful energy to it. These boys are so ruddy cute! Yes I am a total Edward whore. He’s super cute and slightly clingy to Jake, makes for a gorgeous read.

And I am sure this doesn’t have to be said. But two pretty, yummy and in love blokes fumbling and learning each other? Yep. Delish. As always Tuesdaymidnight’s writes verrah verrah good slash.
Both of us were careful not to leave marks on each others necks to avoid questions at school, but my chest was always spotted from Edward's kisses. He was obsessed with my chest, which was fine by me. One time he got me off just from licking and biting my nipples and letting me dry-hump his leg. It was kind of embarrassing, but it became less so when I reached down Edward's pants and got him off with three pumps of my fist.
See?
So want cuteness? Yummy boy loving? Kick-arse wolves? ADORABLE Jake and Edward? Then this is the fic for you! Enjoy!

Chele - If Twilight were written about realistic teenagers and the author had been a little more fond of homosexual characters, this could have been Eclipse.

Okay, maybe not, because there’s also a healthy dose of sexuality, and emotional depth that is refreshing and wonderful, and is much more than is present in canon. Edward is human and completely adorable. His earnestness and reception of Jake made me swoon. Jacob is on such a roller coaster of emotions from the upheaval in his life that he’s nearly emo, but possesses impressive internal strength, and a wicked sense of humor that make him particularly endearing.

Despite the immediacy and urgency of the imprint, I love the way that Tuesdaymidnight takes her time in building Jake’s realization of it, all while Jake and Edward are getting to know each other, and obviously responding to the inexplicable pull. The UST in the high school cafeteria was intense. It left me tingly.

This fic has all my favorite things: intensity of emotion, a strong foundation in canon, clever characterizations, and an erotic edge. Even if you’ve never given Jacob/Edward a shot, this is the best way to break down that final boundary. If you’re a Jakeward veteran? You are guaranteed to love.

Jen - It’s always a treat to see Tuesdaymidnight’s name in my alerts. NGL, I was pretty thrilled to see that she’d written an AU Jakeward, and I couldn’t wait to have a chance to sit down and read her take on these boys.

I really love Jake’s voice in Turn and Face the Strange. Sometimes our beloved characters are in high school yet act, speak, and think like much older people. Not so here; Jake sounds like a teen, and he’s the laid back, happy go lucky guy we know from canon. Edward is adorable. He, and all the Cullens, are human, so there’s no mind-reading and no opportunity for Edward to be a broody bastard.

Jake is pretty stoked when he finds out that he is a shape-shifter. Though he knows about imprinting, he hasn’t quite put together the warm feelings he has toward Edward with what happened to Sam. Combined with the weird pull he feels toward Edward, Jake no longer has a crush on Bella.

Things get really fun when Edward and Jake start spending time together. It’s apparent to both of them that there’s an attraction, and luckily it doesn’t take them long to acknowledge it. They’re just two adorable boys, getting to know each other through talking and kissing and yummm. I know I keep using the word adorable, but seriously, they are just two sweet high school boys.

I reached across the table and stabbed at his dessert. I shoved a huge bite of the cake into my mouth. As I chewed I could feel Edward's gaze on me, and when I looked up, his eyes were trained on my mouth. His stare was so intense, I could feel my cheeks flush with embarrassment. Thank goodness I didn't have Edward's pale skin.

"Edward," I said, snapping my fingers in front of his face.

"Sorry," he squeaked out. "I know we're supposed to feel bad about hiding this from Bella and all, but I can't be this close to you and not get... distracted."
I closed my eyes, trying to will my dick into submission. It was rough being so close to Edward and not be touching him. What I really wanted to do was jump across the table, pin him to the ground and kiss him until my lips were numb. Though, in all honesty, I would have settled for holding his hand.

How sweet are they?

In case you’re worried about getting cavities from all this sweetness, never fear, there are newborn vamps coming after the wolves. There are good vamps who work with the wolves, and I think you’ll enjoy who they are and the way Tuesdaymidnight uses them in the story. This part of the plot is nicely woven around the romantic plot, and will have you holding your breath in spots.

Turn and Face the Strange was an unexpected treat. It’s Jakeward, it’s a high school fic, it’s sweet and adorable. Check it out, I know you’ll love it.

Jess - Like the other Pervs, I was thrilled to see this fic pop up in my inbox. There are many unique elements that make this story pure win. Number one among them (in my mind at least) is how Tuesdaymidnightused all the canon elements we know and love in a new and different way.

First - the Cullens are all human. As I was reading the first two chapters I kept thinking... “Are they human?” And then of course, I realized they were. Each of the Cullens possess the characteristics we are used to, but in this AU fic, it just felt... different. Second, we have both wolves and vamps, but as Emmy said, there is a different sort of animosity between them. I can’t tell you how many times I thought... wow, what a cool way to bring this aspect of SM’s stories to life. As you’re reading, you’ll see exactly what I mean, but it was particularly poignant when Victoria’s army and the wolves are on the verge of an epic battle. Very cool!

The highlight of this story for me was Jake. We are trapped in his head the whole time, and his thoughts are exactly like a high school boy with supernatural powers. We see glimpses of the awe and respect for the wolf inside, the confusion around his sexuality and how he comes to discover he’s gay - and the subsequent confusion over his relationship with Bella, the process of falling in love with Edward, and the intense desire to protect him at all costs.

Jake was amazing in this story. Despite all the craziness of him being a wolf, he just felt so human to me. There are many examples of this, but there’s one that really stands out. There was a moment early on where Jake is in the car with the other Pack boys, thinking about his mother’s death. Lost in his confusion over his feelings for Edward, I found myself getting teary.

I wrapped my arms around myself in the car and tried not to let the tears threaten my eyes. Somehow I just knew that I could talk to my mom about what was going on with me and she would understand in a way no one else would. Most of the time, I didn't think about it too much. I grew up mostly without my mom being there, but occasionally I really, really missed her, and it just wasn't fair that everyone else had a mom and I didn't.

Tuesdaymidnight captured this moment of vulnerability and grief so well, and then she uses grief as a connection point for Jake and Edward later as they slowly open themselves up to each other.

That connection intensifies as the story progresses. I love how Emmy described their blossoming relationship as them “fumbling and learning each other”. It absolutely was! The tension and uncertainty between them is palpable but not overdone. It felt so, so real to me. Take their first kiss, for example. They were sitting in Edward’s room for the first time, awkwardly giving voice to their feelings. Jake is thinking about his first kiss with Leah and how he knew it would be different with Edward because he actually wanted to kiss him... or more importantly, to be kissed by him. The air in the room is practically crackling as their thighs touch.

We both leaned forward, like a movie cliché unfolding. He started tilting his head to the right, so I did the same. Then our lips met and my entire body was screaming 'yes.'

Edward's hand came up to the back of my neck, and his fingers tugged on my hair, holding me in place. I opened my lips and then his tongue filled my mouth. I pressed my tongue against his, forcing him to part his lips wider. His mouth and his tongue were hot and perfect. A warmth started in my stomach and began spreading to every inch of my body.

And that’s what I call swoooooon! Trust - there’s more where that came from. The fumbling leads to exploration which leads to finding and truly learning each other. There is no extraneous, contrived angst in this fic. The story unfolds beautifully, and every turn of events just makes sense.

If you’ve never read Jakeward or have and want something a little different than the standard AU talk on the saga, give Turn and Face the Strange a chance. Make sure you leave Tuesdaymidnight some love and tell her the Pervs sent you!
