Hello fellow nerd lovers. I know it has been a while and for that I am sorry. I had a post already planned out and then Emmy went and emailed a certain picture of a young British lad in a pair of glasses and my head nearly exploded. Apparently he put on a reporter’s glasses during an interview to be funny. That works on so many levels. 1) Hello, GLASSES. 2) He was being funny and 3) Did I already note GLASSES??
So if you have yet to bask in the glory of a picture of Rob in glasses that doesn’t come form the 20 minutes he’s in Bad Mother’s Handbook or the never ending number of manips...ENJOY!

Now to regularly scheduled programming.
For the past two years the first Saturday of May has been a day filled with sheer happiness and utter nerding out...it’s FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!!!
Most comic book stores (that participate) will allow each person to pick out three comics from the LARGE selection of free books. A lot of the comics are for young kids to tweens, almost like an introduction to the amazing world of Super Heros for all the little ones out there.
If you visit the FREE COMIC BOOK DAY website you can even preview some of the comics beforehand to make sure they would be suitable for you or your kids before picking them up.
It’s always a fun day, the store will be packed and you will have the opportunity to browse through all the amazing comics, as well as support your local comic shop. Annnnnnd maybe scope out some of the hot nerds that are bound to be there!
This is a great opportunity to make sure we have another generation of adorable geek guys and girls out there. Hope you all have a very fun Saturday! <3
